Got to laugh. Been looking for a specific spec for ages and another one has just come up for sale which I'm waiting on details being sent through.

Those advisories are all common failure points. Brake pipe will be repairable by inserting a new section. A main dealer may say it needs the body lifting off the chassis, but not the case.

Tyre wear prob caused by worn steering gear. Not to difficult but will need geometry check afterwards.

Worth reading this

https://www.which.co.uk/consumer-rights/ad...-my-rights

in which case, you could take it for a Land Rover dealer level MOT as soon as you get it.

If it fails, you can get the second hand car dealer to fix the faults and return it to the LR dealer for retest ... or reject and get a refund?

As for the potential water leaks and stuff, make sure that state in writing all is good.

As for used car warranty, post the details here and I'm sure someone will know if its worth a damn or not.

Disco_Mickey seems to do a lot of warranty work so he would be a good one to canvas for opinion in such things I guess.

Thanks all.

The second (and my fav) disco advisories are as follows. Are these anything to be concerned about ?

Monitor and repair if necessary (advisories):
Offside Play in steering rack inner joint(s) ()
plastic under trays fitted covering brake pipes

Also looks like a MOT was done at 6 months not on the regular 12 month cycle this year. I am guessing as part of the garage buying it - is that normal ?

Thanks all
