Then you have answered your own question. No point wasting money chucking a new engine in, sell it cheap and let someone else do that. Or break it and make more money from it.

Aye, just make sure it’s not something simple first haha. If the engine is completely toast then yeah. But if it’s a simple fix get it fixed and flog it on.
