Now out of warranty by 8 months and still keeping the fingers crossed and reaching to touch wood as I type. Don't like gambling, but a £800+ bet looked liked long odds to me.

Mine done 62k and warrenty up in Sept. in fact the technicle date I should get home from trip North.
So if warrenty is needed hope a phone will work or sat phone is near to book in for free repairs before I have to start paying.
For the price of extended warrenty quite a bit of work can be done, but if its giong to continue to have faults that cost heaps it will be time to f it off. But seriously I hope it will be a long term vechle
If I was to replace it tomorrow with a new vechle it would be a Defender, only one ecu for engine management,
and fit it with, front and rear diff locks, suspension lift, long range fuel tank, and all the other usual stuff.
