I’ve seen on FB some American LR3/LR4s that look quite alright with two tone scheme. One is white and the bonnet (only the raised part) and roof are wrapped black. Wheels are also black. Looks kind of a vehicle an imperial storm trooper would show up in.
Another is silver and has a black bonnet and roof.
If it makes you happy go for it.

Nasher I think it may look better if the white/silver part started just above the doors rather than the top trim piece on the doors 16 D4 Landmark
