High Beam Assist.
2012 D4 XS with Xenons. When I first got it I think I turned HBA off as being a bit of a gimmick. The missus is raving about hers on her Golf so I thought I would give it another bash. I have RTFM and it says it should be activated via the vehicle set-up menu on the information panel. No such option exists there for me to activate it despite me checking all the sub menus.
Does this mean I never had it and my memory is playing tricks or am I missing something basic?
Thank you in advance.

its an option on the XS and NOT worth every penny.
I think its also an option on the HSE now if I recall - I had it on my MY10 HSE and it was a waste of time....Duncan

works ok on long straight roads, but as soon as you get to windy roads, especially going round right hand bends it was just way too slow to dip, and sometime didnt dip at all !!Duncan

Must be the memory playing tricks then. As you do when you first get it I scrolled through the menus changing things as I thought fit and presumed I did it then.
Is it one of the things that can be 'activated' by faultmate?

Mine is switched off. Tried it on a couple of occasions. I found it dipped when it didn't need to. Probably getting reflection from road signs or similar. TBH it really isn't much of a hardship to manually dip your headlights. I'd much rather LR had spent the money on a remote switch to set your lights to dip the other way when traveling abroad, so that it you didn't have to start stripping down the front end to get to the lever.Rich
