High level brake light Disco 4
Hello. Any ideas how I change the bulb? I have removed the internal trim but there doesn't seem any access / release mechanism. Do I just need to prise off? Thanks Colin
The high level brake light uses built in LEDs, is bonded to the tailgate and is a real PITA to get out, so if it isn't working, I would check other causes (wiring etc.) before moving to the unit itself because, AFAIK, it would be very unlikely to have failed yet.

I have just removed mine. I have damaged body work now, so need to get that fixed before rebonding in. I tried some windscreen wire. due to shape it didn't work that well. the pull windscreen knife might work. I ended up with dremel and shape knife with a chisel in parts. Vehicles

Sorry to hear that. I don't know why they didn't design so you could access by removing the internal trim.
