Hitachi compressor dryer cover red pilot air pipe connection
My MY12 D4 2.7 TDV6 is fitted with the Hitachi Air Supply Unit (compressor). It's currently getting the following fault:

Opened up the compressor housing cover and noticed that on the Air Dryer Cover end cap, the red connection for the Pilot Air Line looks suspect:
It looks to be sticking out further than the blue High pressure supply to air suspension system below it. There's also some differing colouring around the collar and end of the black pipe closest to the connection.
I do note though, that from what I have read issues with the Air Dryer Cover usually related to C1A20-64 error code though...Mine - modified MY03 LT L318 Discovery 2a HSE Td5 15P
Hers - MY12 L319 Discovery 4 Lion 2.7L TDV6
Dads - MY98 LJ Discovery ES 3.9L V8

See my other reply - yep looks like a Hitachi - a 2012 is a bit late for a Hitachi but you have what you have - is typical symptom of desiccant starting to clog - air is having trouble venting out through the desiccant OR the exhaust valve is not opening to let the air out - doesn't matter - time for a rebuild - details in my other reply.
