Home made mudflaps

After about eight Disco3 days out I have destroyed all four of my loriginal and rover mudflaps. They're a rubbish design as they're not flexible enough.

There was some talk of making some a few months ago. I'm determined to have a go. I want to make them more like the big flappy ones you get on Defenders.

Can anyone suggest a good source of rubber sheet? Alternatively I could buy a set of four Defender mudflaps and fettle them to fit (that way I'll get LR logos on the back ones)

Any suggestions on suitable rubber?

you could try these people, I bought a load of the tylene or whatever it's called to line my old SIII and I'm going to make some mudflaps out of the leftovers when I get around to it...(eventually)

Nice job Wiggs. That's exactly the kind of thing I was going to try to do...

Some rubber would be great! (Ooo-er Missus)

I'm coming to Billing next weekend - probably on the Saturday, but maybe Sunday if the waether forecast is better. I was going to stop by the Disco 3 camp on the way in. I'll PM you my phone number.

I fancy doing all four. I'd happily make a contribution towards the rubber - or make a contribution to the site in lieu.

Bodsy does like things that are black and shiny and smell of rubber.

Wheels. Clearly I was refering to his new black wheels there. Nothing pervy. Obviously. Whistle
