Hopefully found what Ive been looking for
Well, finally looks as if I have found a Disco3 to replace the Grand Voyager.
Its a '55 plate Java Black 2.7TD HSE. Apparently, the one previous owner really looked after the car so it should be a nice one. Only seen it in these pictures but hopefully collecting it next week.
If anyone recognises it then let me know...
Right...now where do I start modding it???

I don't like to draw attention to the embarrassing, but it seems to have dandruff Long succession of Disco's since 2001...
SIII Lightweight - neglected & rusting. Bulkhead, A panels, vent panel & outriggers now disintegrated - Next years project!
Only the special needs people get to have Java Black. 8)

Thanks for the input guys....and yes apparently it was the salesmans dandruff getting in the way of the shot.
Java Black was the first choice I am afraid....looks so cool in black and as the neighbour has a silver one that wasnt an option. Other colour was the red (? not up on names I am afraid). I wanted that but the wife loves the black.
Apparently, once you've had black there is no going back she tells me......

looks like an ex-land rover group car, alot now coming through the network, also consider buying direct from LR via bristish car auctions, then paying your £150 to your local stealer to do a 50 point check and budget around £70 for a full interior/exterior polish/clean and save around £3000 to £4000k. Given its newness, (55plate plus) alot of independent stealers may not touch it cos its tying up cash that might buy 2/3 TD5's as well as them trying to compete with the main dealer for the sale!!
For example, just looked on bca, got a 13/07/2006 metropolis LE in silver, just over 5000 miles, retails at 36k, yours for around 32,500 in clean condition (cap guide)
Glasses puts it down as just over £30k (which stealers often use when the private punter comes in with their px)

just had another look on bca auctionview, got 3 x tdv6 hse all black with black leather, all o6 plates!!
