2006 Discovery 3 TDV6 SE Auto Zambezi Silver

HSE badge but I bought an SE

A week after taking my new SE d3 I noticed that the back legend says 'HSE' and not 'SE'. It is to all intent an SE and the dealer told me 'Landrover do this sometimes'. Has anyone else experienced this bizarre badging? Zambezi Silver SE / Ebony Leather

Yes, I'd thought of trying for a few of the HSE bits (extended navigation and full voice control) but the dealer knows it's an SE really so I don't think they're going to budge a micron. Zambezi Silver SE / Ebony Leather

Might be wrong, but take it to another dealer. I dont think you have to return the car to the same dealer you bought it from do you? Any post-sale work is warranty jobby and paid for by LR.

Well... gotta be worth a try D3 HSE V8...

Not going to work, dealers almost always check up on the car history before doing any work so they know what's been done before, that'll flag it up as an SE straight away.

Get them to remove the H and when they make a complete hash of it and have to respray the tailgate point out to them it would have been cheaper to give you the upgrade

My SE came completely debadged apart from Land Rover ovals. Didn't ask for it but kinda like it that way.
