You can always un-hook it and...... hey presto, back up she goes.
For extra points, unhook it in Jeremy Clarksons driveway and let him decide what to do with it

True, this is the only caravan that has ever appealed to me. I saw one (or very similar) being hauled by a D2, it looked fantastic.

LT, fair doos, I'd quite like to try a luxury caravan but the wife won't consider anything without room service, a spa and a kids club to give us some peace! 2007 HSE Java Black.....sold

DD, I'm in the same boat. Don't think I'd get the wife anywhere near a caravan, even a "hard as nails one".
There is an certain appeal in hauling an off-road caravan into the middle of nowhere, but the U.K isn't really suited to that. Best left to our Australian cousins.

Yes - it was still shiny when he delivered the rack and ladder yesterday. NO trailer tent was seen but there was a very light coating of dirt on the tyres.
Thanks for the delivery mate!

Am I the only one who finds this "dressing up" of an already handsome vehicle akin to someone who runs around in a Ferrari kit car?
Sorry DD but unless you are off to darkest Peru this window dressing leaves me as cold as last nights dinner.

And thank you for the single malt, slips down a treat
Keebs, with a wife, 3 sons and often 2 parents on board, we NEED the extra capacity the rack brings, I recently sold a 400 litre roofbox because it simply wasn't big enough, the trailer is also useful, esp for all the garden waste etc (old house, big trees, lots of debris etc) but the trailer really comes into its own with 5 bikes in it, (or an expo rack!)
as far as 'dressing up' goes...well ok, the lamp guards are form over function and the g4 stickers are a bit twee but I fail to see any connection between it and a kit car!
I won't be adding any extra lights/snorkels/winches or similar because I don't need them, I will add a mantec plate because I DO like to play in the mud and the bit of plastic below the grille is already scraped! 2007 HSE Java Black.....sold

Seriously shiny piece of kit there Dr D, must admit these beasties are hard to keep clean. Roll on spring.
