| HSE gets picked up tommorrow |

Hi all,
Just traded my basic Disco1 V8 for a 2005 D3 TDV6 HSE (not much difference then!). I've had the Disco1 for 10 years - yes 10 - the only fault was when the cruise control packed in. (Quoted £250 to fix so didn't bother).
Hopefully will get the same reliability  - but reading some posts who knows

Bought from Guy Salmon - no I dont have it yet, trying to think what I can do to fill in the time between now and tommorrow (suppose I could do some work ). Just having the towbar fitted - would have liked the privacy glass but wife doesnt like it - work to do here.
BTW - Is there a definitive list of standard equip for the year - looking on LR site you can see the spec of the 07 models but not previous years. The dealer says it doesnt have the PTI installed - yet the 07 models have as standard - I bought with the understanding it isnt installed but you can't believe everything you are told

Well if it hasn't got the sharks fin on the roof, believe it!
I think it was an option across the range originally.
Did you find G.S. were ok?
I went to G.S. Wakefield in the end 'coz G.S. Sheffield were carp! (or similar)! Back in the game!

Thanks for the info - a bit of digging would support youre conclusion that it was originally an option, it would have been a bonus 
So far so good - but then again I'm still in the buying phase (havent handed over any money yet - apart from deposit, or had any problems).
