the noise on the video when hot is my concern, its looking like the lifters are ok and noisy injectors is that top noise . i was under the impression the body needs to come off to get the engine outMetal auto sump & fluid change (3 hrs)
LR door puddle projectors (10 mins)
Tinted Bonnet wind deflector (10 mins)
All Intercooler pipes and Tbolts (2hrs)
3 injectors replaced so far (30mins)
Sunroof drain pipes both sides 2.5 hrs)
Rear discs, shoes,pads,callipers,flexi hoses, rigid brake line, n/s upper hub carrier bush and rear n/s upper arm (13hrs over 2 days)

If you have facilities to remove the body it is the easier way.
DIYers have removed engines/heads on their driveway, but it is a struggle. and frustrating.

sorry pete i dont have use of a two post lift to get body off neither the funds to pay for it
i suspected the cam chains but the indie said the noise was towards the front underneath so they believe its the timing belt areaMetal auto sump & fluid change (3 hrs)

Don’t need to remove body on a d3 for anything.
