That's what lra are for.they would have took it back for you and got you another car to drive.tbh after such a short time of ownership of the car the dealer should have come out and picked the thing up.
You should make the dealer sweat mate.I would

Make the dealer come and collect it whilst leaving you a courtesy car. Unless you bought it privately or via auction in which case you know the risks you were taking to get a cheaper price. Of course it has all the stamps in the service book I take it. And you did have it inspected by a specialist as well before buying it......
And a duff key fob hardly makes the whole car crap. Neither does a suspension fault. Probably just needs a reset. These are complex vehicles which are massively capable. With complexity comes maintenance and a greater potential for faults. As long as it's under warranty why worry? If it's not then I refer you to paragraph 1.
Facts are it's either under warranty or you took a gamble. If it's the latter, well you lost on this occasion. Doesn't make it a crap vehicle though.

you have only had one warning light and already posted a question about it..
the response was get it tested at a dealer etc - whats the problem. it wont fix its self
you are bound to be frustrated but that wont fix it either - chill out and get it booked in or get TFC to have a look when hes in the area - speak to the dealer you got if from and see if they will pay the costs.Duncan

Reject it and get your money back. Go and buy a better one.
Don't despair - it's a great vehicle, and the smallest of niggles can make it seem like a piece of crap, especially when you get a few together. Like you, I don't like Roger Young, so I use Erme Valley Auto's in Ermington. The guy who owns it knows his stuff, and can look at the codes for you. His hourly rate is good too. Once you've owned the D3 for a bit, the capabilities far outweigh any shortfalls. If it's any consolation, mine's had a suspension fault which required a new compressor, and a blocked fuel filter which caused it to virtually stop in lane 3 on Haldon Hill, and a failed door latch which meant I couldn't lock it properly for weeks, but blasting through the snow last January, or in the deep mud on Salisbury Plain with other D3s, and the many other permagrin moments I've had over the past couple of years more than make up for it
I'm off work for the next couple of weeks so if you want any help just let me know

andy, (ridgeback_moor). Many thanks for pointing me towards Erme Valley, I will call to him and Matfords today. All the rest, just venting my spleen really, disappointing first few days. Thanks for your kind assistance.

NOTHING worse than spending your own hard earned on something only to have a disapointment so early
Can only agree with other guys, I've had mine since March 05 and had more niggles than I can care to mention
Still wouldnt swap it for anything
What, you think he should get a Ssanyong too?I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.
