I pad mounting in GS

I have a d4 gs which doesn t have any sat nav or anything important in LCD display in centre console. I d like to mount my I pad so it sits in the middle resting on the console. Can anyone recommend a mount that I could use to hold it safely here? The window seems Abit far away to mount it from there. I also thought about mounting it on the leather trim that is on top of dash. Would a suction cup manage to hold onto this? I expect air would get in and it wouldn t hold.

There is a really simple way..

Some plastic L profile section from b&q cut to about 15mm, two bits pushed into radio surround.

Works best with leather case...

(had some carbon film to smarten them up a bit....

That looks smart, thanks for that. I ll try and do something similar. Does it sit ok in corners, bumps etc?

The plastic is quite springy and grips on the leather real tight, not had a problem!

I use a Seasucker. Big white suction cap on windscreen and one on the iPad. Takes a huge amount of weight, and works extremely well on my D4 when off-roading.
