What should I price my D3 at?

Is there is anyone out there who could suggest what price I could sensibly get for for my D3?

I am seriously thinking of selling my D3. It is a TDV6 SE in Buckingham blue with alpaca leather. It has covered 67K
miles with a full service history. It is very reliable and is in excellent condition as I am a perfectionist in keeping my car looking nice. Has had the usual things done under warranty such as suspension compressor and suspension bushes. I bought the vehicle new in June 07. It has detachable towing kit. Brand new tyres bought from Ken. Also depends if selling privately or to a dealer. As a guestimate £20 - £21 private sale, £19 - £20 to dealer. They are desperate for stock and weather forecast with snow in it will always help.

Having spent most of December reasearching a few times a day I think £21k private is hugely optimistic, and prices are coming down.
I reckon £17k tops privately, maybe £18k if it's as good as it sounds.

Very good luck with it Thumbs Up

I am willing to sell to a desperate dealer. I have a MY07 with a few shiny bits added to make it more attractive as a street croozer. Never been offroad. Paintwork perfect (in between the scratches). Please supply address of said desperate dealer. PM only - no need to tell the crowd. Thumbs Up

You put the steering wheel on the proper side then?? Whistle Whistle

Besides that would mean Mrs NJF uses your RRSnort to get kiddies to and from muddy playing fields and that would break your heart!

I can put a steering wheel on that side if it helps the dealer to buy the car. It (the RHS steering wheel) won't work but the dealer puts things on my car that don't work, so I guess it would be OK? Whistle

Did you edit your post to add the RRSnort bit? There's no way that the kiddies will get into my car. I love 'em to bits, etc., but kids inside a car with an Ivory leather interior? No chance. That's why we're keeping the D3 until the Icon Deafener replacement comes along. Mr. Green

I just changed my washer jets for the new type (cheers, JF Lux Thumbs Up ). Sand got in my eyes ... and my ears ... and up my nose. Damned stuff gets everywhere, including under the bonnet cladding. There's still a light dusting in the interior, despite the paintbrush.

It's catching. They're all at it now - the entire North African coast and down into the Gulf. Rolling Eyes

How about Iceland? I hear that Bárdarbunga is due to erupt in a show that would dwarf what happened at Eyjafjallajökull. Of course, you could only say those names after a night around a campfire drinking Bombay and Battin. Very Happy

Apologies to the OP. Yet again DSL has taken the thread Off Topic
