Have i upset my D3??

Got a load of unexplained stuff going on Crying or Very sad lots of bongs ,special programs off ,HDC fault ,yellow park brake coming on, saying epb on when allready pulled away then suspension lowers until i stop turn off and restart any one know whats going on Shocked

Brake light bulbs can cause some strange problems when they fail...apparently i would start there

How is your battery...? A dud one can do funny things to a D3.
 The next American ex-pat that calls it a "truck" is going to find out what 2.7 tons feels like on their foot...

Club "yes, I too have had the EGR's replaced..."
Club "yes, I too have had the compressor replaced..."
Club "yes, I too once had the car at the dealer for a couple of weeks nearly 4 weeks over 4 weeks...5 weeks"
Club "yes, I too have had EPB failure..."
Club "yes, I too get mysterious bings and bongs..."

Hi Darryl, as JF says I would check the battery, had the same issues with mine and a new battery solved them.

Got a new battery about 4 months ago but didnt charge it before i fitted it also just dun a few hundred miles run so should be ok i would of thought thanks for the help il check the bulbs Shocked Banging Head

Sounds like electrikery/battery issues. You say you've fitted a new battery - if the connections are OK I'd get the alternator checked out to make sure it's charging correctly. I changed my battery at the end of Feb but was still getting strange things happening - at the end of March, my alternator failed completely (luckily as 10FC was servicing the car so he changed it for me there and then Thumbs Up ) but I think now that the alternator was on it's way back in Feb.
 Now an ex-D3 owner after 7 happy years. Miss the car but not the big bills Smile

Albournboy, I just got it serviced by TFC couple of days ago Thumbs Up .checked the brakelight bulbs today as harribo mentioned noticed i got no brake lights at all Big Cry rang ian for advice, sounds like brakelight switch he said Bow down , luckily dealer had 1 in stock just 1 Shocked changed it couple of hours ago so far so good got brake lights anyway il give it a spin in a hour or so see if its cleared all the madness Rolling Eyes .Strange beast the D3 what an issues an electrical part can cause hope its sorted
