Icarsoft LR and service mode?

Does anyone know if the Icarsoft LRII has the functionality to put the barkes into service mode?

Thanks!

park brake ?

To be honest I never bothered having an automatic. (no auto apply when key removed)

You can remove one of the large fuses if you are worried

Im not sure if its the same on the Discovery but i put our freelander in service mode by pressing a sequence of buttons in the car.

this retracts the the calipers and allows you to change the pads.

found this online ( this was for a D3 )

I am going to change the rear pads and discs, and you seem to have to put the car in "service mode" before doing it.

I dont use the handbrake hardly ever either!

the worry is that when the discs are removed, someone can activate the park brake from inside the car (could even be you!) and push the shoes out and then you are in a world of pain!

But if you remove the large fuse from under the bonnet this can't happen.

or if the discs are only off a short period of time, you minimize the risk

Rermove the top right (P) pink fuse, under the bonnet (passenger side)
(disengauge park brake before starting work)

The I930 is a good code reader, but thats all it can do is read all the codes and pretty much everything the sytems can do, plus it can read every system on the car unlike standard odb readers, in the case of my car it found 28 systems/ecus to checks, worked on my mates range rover as well
It cannot programme and it cannot activate anything,

It does give live data streams as well and you can check individual height sensors etc as said, can’t programme but reads all ECU’s, it’s a good tool to have in your glove box for the price. I used mine a couple of weeks ago to identify a faulty alternator Thumbs Up

Presumably, it wont calibrate the steering angle sensor or calibrate the suspension after changing the hight sensors ?

Andi.
