Any idea what this is?
I have just removed a Nokia phone kit from the my D3. I took the covers off under the steering wheel and this fell out...
Nothing seems to be a problem, no more than before I removed the panel.Discovery 4 GS 2009 Auto Stornoway Grey

It is a manual, so could it be part of the clutch pedal?Discovery 4 GS 2009 Auto Stornoway Grey

Hi, yes it is hollow, but I don't have a sunroof. Could it have been fitted as standard even if the sunroof wasn't fitted?Discovery 4 GS 2009 Auto Stornoway Grey

a bung to block to hole then ?
though I would expect a flat grommet, maybe it makes fitting easier

If its a land rover part, there must be a number on it somewhere that may assist identification, Shirley?
They like sticking the badge on everything

its in the shed, so I will double check later, maybe with my glasses on this time as last time I am sure there wasnt a number on it. Its probably some random bit of something thats fallen in there, but always worth checking when something falls onto the floor when you take a panel off!!Discovery 4 GS 2009 Auto Stornoway Grey

So if you have no sunroofs, I assume you have to pour jugs of water into the footwells, just so you do not miss out on the full experience

I dont feel like I am missing out on all the other joys of D3 ownership, random faults showing up and going, other faults that cant be found, odd little bits falling off when you remove a panel, you know how it goes! Having read the threads, I feel everyone else's pain on the sunroof issue though.Discovery 4 GS 2009 Auto Stornoway Grey

It's part of the clutch pedal, the return spring sits in the hole, the other end sits in a slot.
