15 mins and £1.99 for the lamp

from Halfords and Torx screwdriver. Oh and Toothpick to push the old lamp out.

I have taken a couple of images of the rogue lamp in question that is buried inside the ignition coil.

You need to disassemble the unit so you see the copper coil and where the connector plugs in is the lamp.

My Disco is SE model and has the green light that comes on when unlocking the car.

The lamp is 286G from Halfords.

The photos show the original with the green sleeve over the top which does come off to go over a clear 286 replacement.
