iid fault code P045C-00 (6C) Unknown. Advice needed. EGR ???

Hi, looking for a bit of advice, MIL lamp came on earlier today with fault code P045C-00 (6C). iid tool says Unknown. A little bit of searching suggests the egr.
I cleared the fault, but fault returned 5 mins later. I cleared the fault again and took a 80 mile drive home, this time the MIL light stayed off. The car is a my08 so I'm after a bit of advice as to what the problem is and best long term solution.

Hi

P045C = Exhaust gas recirculation B control circuit - Low 00 General failure information - no sub type information.

Verification of the wiring and valve itself would be the starting point.

Should be at 5% or so when closed, and follow the commanded positions almost instantly Thumbs Up My D3 Build Thread

As a side note what year did the 2.7 have DPFs plse , as someone asked me the other day ref the egr blanking
