IID tool
Hi all
I’ve used my iid a few times now and I can see how useful it is, I have cleared quite a few fault codes but still have some that come back, I’ll screen shot these and post them up on here, I hope someone can point me in the right direction. However I have been trying to enable 3 flash indicators and although it tells me they are enabled they don’t work also I want to enable Nav on the go but there isn’t an option for this that I can find? I do have the clock on the radio screen though.
Anyone give me a clue what and where to look?
Cheers
Graham

You need to update the BCM also to enable 3 flash. But its wise to read the manual first.

Nav on the move. You need to plug your tool into a pc and update it to the 'special' firmware

There are several versions of the IID tool. 2 are Bluetooth. 1 of those is locked to your VIN for the advanced features like programming functions (approx £360) and the other is the Pro version which works on any VIN for professionals which is the £2000 one you have seen.2005 Discovery 3 HSE

Seconded, the Bluetooth IID is excellent. Having your “friend” look at the live value screen on the iPad while driving and troubleshoot things is extremely useful.
