IID tool oil check
Please can someone tell me how to check the oil level using the IID tool.
Ive looked through the manual several times, but can't fathom it out for the life of me.Disco 4 XS 2010 Auto.

1. Engine oil level - Measured (in mm or inch depending from your settings)

Thanks, just tried your method and got these readings.
134mm
5.5 lts
Normal car method shows one division down from max.
Does all this seem to be correct?Disco 4 XS 2010 Auto.

Every division is aprox 0,5L, so, yes the reading is correct (Full = 6,0L)
Remember, the shown level is "calculated" by the read values by the oil level sensor and these are the same values that you can read with the IIDTool "live values"Discovery 5 tdv6 HSE Corris Gray Outback Engineering Limited Edition

Interestingly, been playing with my new iid bt and found the oil level display. It showed 5.4 litres. Added a measured 300ml and on rechecking with the iid it read...........5.7 !!
