IID Tool - Whats the going rate for updates etc

Hi there,

As title really keep being asked to go and clear/read faults and add xeons or switch on the 4x4 display locally but not sure what, if anything, i should be charging for this? I see from some posts on here that folks do charge but I'm keen to not rip anyone off. Can someone help please?

You need a Pro tool to update xenon and 4x4 info for others. Is that what you have?

You can read fault codes for others though if that helps. I do it for free if asked. Thumbs Up

Your tool won’t be able to update 4x4 or xenon for others. It is Vin locked. You need one of these. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/IID-TOOL-Pro-La...SwIWVZAMRj

Here’s the difference in tools, one on the left is my pro, one on the right is my BT.

Yes, on first use. New licenses can be added, up to 10 ISTR, for a suitable amount of wanga. Thumbs Up
