I'll be leaving shortly
So, after nearly 13 1/2 years of Disco ownership, I'm off
Golf GTi Performance ordered today, DSG gearbox and a few other extras. First new car since March 2010 so quite excited about it
I first saw a Disco3 sticker in September 2005 whilst sat in a layby on a road near Richmond in NY (eating fish & chips) - spookily, the D3 I saw belonged to Gareth who actually lives about 2 miles from me!
Since than, lots of help from folk on here, it's been a great forum.
New car arrives in September, so will still lurk around for a bit and I will have a few ods and sods to sell
Cheers Guys

Cheers - looking forward to it - totally different from the D4.
My lifestyle has changed over the past couple of years, no kids to ferry about and don't do the business miles anymore - more often than not, just me sat in it by myself, so struggling to justify the cost of fuel and maintenance costs, especially as the D4 is nearly 8.5 years old no (longest I've ever owned a car - testament as to how capable they are), so something smaller and hopefully a bit of fun.

Wow sad to see you leave the fold Adam. I remember that day in Yorkshire, and you joining the forum. 13.5 years has gone quick.
Good luck with the Vee dub, I’m sure it will be exciting!
I’m sure I’ll see you around, you know where I live.

Bought an F-Type and keep the 'old-lady' D3 [2006] on as a family car if
any kid decides to RIDE [come] along afterall..

Thanks Gareth - see you around Bramhall and Cheadle Hulme no doubt.
I will be genuinely sorry to see her go, lot of memories in that car - I'd only had her 3 months and we drove down to Wellesbourne to see the Vulcan with your lad and his mate if you recall.
Dan - at my and my missus age (and post my snip many years ago), if a kid comes along it will be an Immaculate Conception.

I did that already ..... sold the D4 and went to a 'very quick car'.
Enjoyed it initially then after the novelty of performance wore off, I realised it was only a 'car', not a Land Rover.
Got back in the fold within the year...... albeit not a D4, but LR's best kept secret - an FL2 and have never been happier/better off than where I am now.
Sorry to see you go Adam ...... but see you back again shortly. 🏴

@ronp.
Cant disagree with you. Though we'll take the F-Type for 'grand tours' through Europe, not camping..
And the FL2 ; SWMBO didn't like the ride.. ..spoiled to bits by 8 years air suspension..
So I had to sell it on..
In the yard of the company who sold it for me.. .. no canvassers please..
I have a Ranger Wildtrak on order, taking delivery 1st Sept. New Discovery 5 Commercial was waay too pricey, but at least I have SWMBOs D4 to drive for a few more years. Stock picture of what I’ve ordered...
Yes, I’ve ordered it in that colour tooLRs are a fond memory, apart from the maintenance.
