After 12 months in the wilderness that is ownership of a Volvo XC90, I am returning to the Disco 3 fold!
Sold my last D3 last summer as it was getting costly to repair and bought the Volvo as a 'sensible economic decision', but found myself hankering after a D3 again almost straight away.
Just put down a deposit on a 56 reg D3 HSE, which I collect a week today. Can't wait! Looking forward to all the toys on it as well, as I had a base spec 7st before so one extreme to the other.
XC90 has been a great car - perfectly reliable and does 34.5mpg. But it is just that - a car, not a proper 4WD. I won't miss it at all, even though I know I am unlikely to get similar reliability from the LR.
Already looking for tyres, roof racks, etc to make the new acquisition more suitable for my needs. Happy days. MY11 Disco 4 SDV6 HSE
