My LG Cookie phone seems to have a problem with the in-car bluetooth. It connects (pairs) OK but no functionality, mesage centre says - No Phone Installed.
I believe this is a short coming of the LG bluetooth as my Blackberry Curve works well.
So, thinking of replacing the LG with an HTC Wildfire - anybody else got one and using the bluetooth ?? Is it a decent unit ??
Any experiences would be appreciated.

Same problem here, HTC HD2. Pairs and works, can even store and dial numbers through voice command but the buttons on the centre dash are non-functional.
I think it has to do with non-original PTI... maybe someone like Wiggs can confirm?

I also have one of the aftermarket ones (pair 0000).
is it easy to upgrade? is it just a matter of swapping the module?
