Indicator Help

Guys,

Problem
I've a problem where my front drivers indicator is not working, the side wing indicator and rear one are working fine. The dash indicator is running fast to notify me of the problem.

What I've done so far
I've checked the bulb and it looks fine
I've checked if any current is getting to the light and there is none
I've checked the handbook to see whether it could be a fuse, I cannot find a fuse mentioned for any indicator (there is one for most of the other lights)

Thanks for any help you can give me, could it be a faulty relay???? ( wouldn't know where to find that)

For the record in case anyone else gets the same problem.

I found the problem to be with the headlight unit itself, I found this out by taking the near side unit and plugging it into the driver side, the indicator worked.

Now that things were narrowed down to the headlight unit itself and not the indicator bulb, I noticed that one the socket pins was missing. This was caused earlier by me unplugging the unit to replace a dipped beam bulb, on putting the unit back it must of pushed one of the pins through.

Never know it might help somebody one day.
