Intercooler maggiorato Discovery 3
Buongiorno a tutti,
mi dareste qualche suggerimento per acquistare un Intercooler maggiorato per il mio Discovery 3 2.700 TDV6 del 2006?
Ne ho visti diversi in rete ma vorrei acquistarne uno di buona fattura ed affidabile.
Il montaggio è agevole?

Se posso dire la mia, spendere tutti quei soldi per un intercooler non ha molto senso, specie su un veicolo datato... poi ognuno fa come vuole.
Per fare un bel lavoro inoltre montando un intercooler maggiorato andrebbe rivista la mappatura motore.

Effettivamente anche Allisport consiglia l'aggiornamento della centralina, oltre ad ammettere che l'intercooler maggiorato toglie aria al radiatore riducendo il raffreddamento....
In ogni caso grazie sempre a Daniele ed a Sirio!! Pizza pagata per entrambi D3 TDV6, Zermatt Silver, Coil Spring Suspension, Tyres 285/55 R 18

Montato da piu di cinque anni nessun problema e oltre a respirare meglio il motore, ha un rendimento costante specie in estate... poi ho tolto tutto e il motore gira come un orologio

Hi disco madness what intercooler is that and a rough price
I’ve got access to tig welder so don’t have a issue with what you’ve done Metal auto sump & fluid change (3 hrs)
LR door puddle projectors (10 mins)
Tinted Bonnet wind deflector (10 mins)
All Intercooler pipes and Tbolts (2hrs)
3 injectors replaced so far (30mins)
Sunroof drain pipes both sides 2.5 hrs)
Rear discs, shoes,pads,callipers,flexi hoses, rigid brake line, n/s upper hub carrier bush and rear n/s upper arm (13hrs over 2 days)

It’s a Sierra RS500 intercooler. Off eBay for £89.99. People use silicone adaptors etc as the pipes are too big but I cut the pipes off my old allisport and had them grafted on.Jarrod
