Intercooler pipes

Hi All,

After TFC waved his magic wand over my old D3 he noticed an intercooler pipe leaking oil.

We are attempting to have a go at this ourselves (Not me but my bros in law are serious oil rags) and wondered if anybody on here had changed them and could offer any advice?

Its the pipe behind the heat shielding on the near side front wheel.

Apparently requires the power steering pump removal and shed loads of other stuff.

Was quoted nearly £1000 by a local stealer Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked

Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers.

Thumbs Up

PS there is a pdf file in my gallery.

I wish bodsy!!!

Been quoted 4-8 hours by je eng and 10.5 hrs by GS of Coventry.

My bros are both senior mechanics and TFC advised that no special LR tooling was required.

Should be fun!!
