Intermittent timed climate
Hi,
I've got a bit of an odd one:
1. The remote heater only stays on for 30s then shuts off.
2. The timed climate button on the home screen is sometimes available sometimes not (greyed out). It seems a bit random.
I've got it booked in to the dealer, but not till Jan
Has anyone else seen this?

Hi Paul, Are you referring to the 'set time' buttons or to the 'manual heat / vent' buttons ?
The 'manual heat / vent' buttons which are greyed out when the engine is running. However are available when the ignition is On.D4 SDV6 HSE 11MY - Gone

Ignition must be off and the radio switched on
But he says the home screen ... Which would say the timed climate icon itself to meG4 Gone ...but not forgotten

Yep the root level button.D4 HSE, Active Rear Diff, surround cameras, adaptive xenons, heated steering wheel, TPMS, remote park heating, centre console cooler box

i would suspect a software error then ...G4 Gone ...but not forgotten

My remote preheat would only stay on for around 10 seconds before shutting off. It's at the dealers at the moment having a 'new unit fitted'...

I had a similar issue when I first had mine activated, the issue was the wrong setting had been enabled and when we changed them to the right settings everything worked fine. Maybe Wiggs or another Faultmate guru will be able to let you know what they should be.

I took mine in for fixing last winter. Sadly all the dealer did was switch the battery and never even tested it.D4 HSE, Active Rear Diff, surround cameras, adaptive xenons, heated steering wheel, TPMS, remote park heating, centre console cooler box
