The sound reproduction from my iPod is distorted and skips; my D4 has a USB port for the iPod, not the older multi-pin connector with the curly Land Rover cable. I found a Land Rover US service bulletin on the point, which recommends checking the cable and the iPod, and if that does not work changing the ACM. I have tried the system with a selection of iPods, iPhones and cables (30 pin and Lightning connectors), all with the same result. I have taken the car in 4 times to get this fixed and it still does not work properly; all I have got from the dealers is lame excuses "a fix is coming", "its the TV" (a known fault, but not the same symptoms), "its Apple's fault with the lightning connector" (yet when I pointed out that the same thing happened with the 30 pin connector all I got was a shrug, and that from a dealer that said it was aware of the service bulletin). Why do I get the feeling that they simply don't want to do the warranty work?? Daniel
