Where is the aux socket?

I've just bought a 2006 Discovery 3, on the radio is a button for aux mode but I cannot find a socket? Is there one or is it well hidden and I haven't found it yet!! Apologies if already been asked.

As Sea Raider said it's right at the back of the centre console, on the back of the arm rest behind the cubby fridge if you have one

On the same panel as the mid row 12V Aux socket, rear of centre console, above cup holders, below air vents Wink

Is it possible to fit an aux port on a base model? I've just bought a 07 D3 GS.
Thanks

Yes, there is a post from quite a few years ago. Behingpd the left panel in the passenger footwell is a plug you can splice into and fit it into the glove box or wherever else u want.

Checked out the link that Dave T posted above and it seems passenger footwell is the easiest place to connect the aux input, is it possible that there is a vacant lead in the rear of the cubby like there is for the 12V socket ?

Having it in the back was a pain, that was why I ran it from the front up to where the sat nav would be

Only thinking for kids to plug their phone into, will be splicing into the back of the head unit to add an android 7" unit for GPS etc.
