I stand to be corrected if I am wrong, but being approx 2mins from Southsea at present, and Southsea IMHO starts from Clarence Pier to, lets say Eastney Pool, there is no marina out there, just the Isle of Wight and 3 forts, the odd Britanny ferry, and at approx 8am the hovercraft will start again.
The new Marina is alongside Gunwharf and the Isle of Wight car ferry, or the other on the Gosport side.
Always down here, father is shoreside in HMS NELSON

There's definitely a marina there, but it's not for proper boats - too small.
