From memory I think it was around £430.00 including the fitting of a free-issue DVD player in the glovebox, plus actual return trip fuel.

Actually, I'm glad you mentioned that.
No, to answer your question.
We had it bad at the end of November, not that anyone would know that we had 12" in two days in Yorkshire and not a mention on the national news.
Some poor b ds get stuck at Heathrow and there hasn't been this much news coverage on one single item since poor Diana got chased into a tunnel by MI5.
Anyway, all icy roads at the minute, and I've had a couple of moments where I've slowed down to a skid.
Nothing major, nothing even risky and certainly not driving at anything other than sensible speed but I think i've been a little niave with my expectations as, after all, if a 2.5+ tonne machine hits an icy road no amount of internal gizmo's are gonna help you
I began to question my tyre type but to be honest, I need to respect the machine and stop thinking it's better than a car on ice when really, it's probably worse.
There's no machine that will help when you're on ice.
Having said that, I did pray for snow at the weekend.
I'm a self employed surveyor and had been paid in advance for this current week

Few bits ordered from TLO today, including a new steering wheel and twin 12v electric kit.
Is the latter an easy fix?
I can change a plug and fit a dimmer switch but that's my limit with electrics, how easy is it for a novice?
Thanks,
