Here she is folks, I'm back in the fold and happy to be here
Here she is folks, what do you think?
Black was my first choice colour, so I'm pretty pleased with the result.
63k miles, MY2005, diesel, manual, SE spec in Java black with colour coded wheel arches, Land Rover roof bars, chrome side tubes, Bluefin power upgrade, genuine 20'' Stormer alloys (loads of tread left on Khumo's, bought 4k miles ago), also came with x4 18'' wheels (incl. Goodyear All Weather tyres) and a chrome front LR vent/slat, LR boot mat, full cream leather, heat front and rear seats, seven seats, electric/heated/memory seats, 12 speaker Harmon Kardon stereo, satnav, cruise control, multi function wheel, terrain response and HDC,trip computer.....etc. Full Land Rover service history, just had major 60k service incl front and rear pads! MOT 06/11, TAX06/11.
It was up for £16,300.00 but we shook on £15,600.00.
The sellers were wonderful, a real nice change to deal with decent people with integrity after my last experience and the recent level of service I received from a well know LR dealer in Doncaster from whom I nearly bought a real pile of from last weekend.
I am absolutely over the moon with it and may nip out again tonight.
Thanks to everyone for their goodwill over the last couple of months, you don't know how much it's helped.
You know who you are.

Looks superb, great price too
Hopefully i'll be getting my 1st D3 next week!!
It was a good price, but I suspect being a private sale and a 2005 was a factor.
Prices are crazy at the minute and as can be seen from my 'wanted' ad I had resigned myself to a low spec model for the price I paid/budget I had.
The one I put a deposit on at the LR dealer I mentioned was an SE at £17.5k with 52k but when I turned up it was in poor condition and I'm amazed anyone would have sold it as it was never mind a LR dealer.
Someone mentioned there are good deals around but you may have to travel.
I was lucky in that this was two miles from where I'm working and turned out to be a stunner.
I was also lucky to buy from decent people, as I was beginning to think I had met nothing but the lowest of the low recently
I'm planning to have offroadessentials fit me rear screens in the headrests and think I need to speak to some dude called Wigsy about updating the sat nav?
Good luck with yours dude
