What is it with some people?....
Some delightful soul has run into the back of my Disco in the snow and just driven off.... Its left me with a damaged bumper and bent the bodywork where the bumper attaches near the wheel arch. Bumper has a 4 inch hole in it. Insurance guy reckons its a £1000 fix and my excess is £450. If I ever find out who did it...........

No consolationi I know, but my mate has had the exact same with the rear end of his BMW = only 6 weeks old as well..... I just can't understand some people.
Good luck with the repair and claim.
Lurk Why do I have 2 big hands when my D3 maintenance requires small hands and at least three of them ?

Same thing happened to me. Although I was sitting in the car at the time. Same kind of damage, new rear bumper and tow bar. The other car, R reg Fiesta, undrivable looked about 2 foot shorter.
