Try a bit of garlic paste - that's supposed to work wonders
Although I think it is completely pointless polishing a sump guard, you've made a bloody good job of it 2006 Discovery 3 TDV6 SE AutoBuckingham Blue 2007 Golf GT DSG

Impressed with your work, but I'm from the brigade that thinks it's wrong to have a clean Land Rover, let along underbody protection. Lloyd "Phat Face"

How are you going to protect all that polishing, one damp day and that plate will start oxidising.

Of course, all that hard work will disappear the first time your glad you've got it fitted to the car
As a shining example of excellent underbody protection I hope it serves you as well as it did me MY2016 SDV6 Graphite in Fuji White....... as I like to see the mud and scratches 🤪

We have to do this to our fuel tanks in the summer months, luckily not the alloy wheels (and thers's many) cos they are Stainless Steel.
The fuel tanks last about 3minutes in the rain........................... , and we use the AUTOSOL too, good luck on the day you lost
