Sounds like a very good idea. We wave but are mostly ignored by school run mums

I know what you all mean -I ride a bike and quite like the fact I get a nod from other riders as we pass by.
I thought the same would happen with the D3 but no... still doesn't stop me giving a wave or a flash of the lights as I pass other D3's even if I don't get an aknowledgement back - habit I guess'06 D3 HSE

Like AndrewS has said most modified D3 drivers give a nod or a wave...but generally here in stockbroker belt Surrey I don't think another D3 driver would stop if mine was on fire let alone wave 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

Must admit Defender drivers are the most enthusiastic wavers/pointers usually with an expression like this and you can see them saying "look at that"
At this point I usually remember I have gone out with my gimp mask on againIn the Beginning there was nothing, which exploded.

Used to (almost) always get a wave or a flash when I had a Mini. Usually blank stares or handshaking waves when in the Merc! Driving the Scenic, usually get looks of pity
Will find out what look I'll get in four or five weeks time from the D3(I hope!)Bodsys Brake Bible

Have to admit i do try and see if any D3 that i spot on the road has a D3.co.uk sticker in it - even if that means speeding up/slowing down/overtaking etc.
Tried wavign the first few times i spotted a D3 or let them out at junctions etc but all i got back was a blank stare. Haven't bothered since then - unless its something special (car or female)
Did get an orange d3 sticker to put in the front window, but to be honest when i went to place it, i looked at it and thought it would pi%% me off too much looking through it to the road ahead - and yes the seat is lowered as far as it goes.

I wave at other Land Rovers every time I get the chance & admit I get excited when I see them
Unfortunately very few wave back or even look in my direction. Either noses in the air or talking on their cell phones. I hear it's much more practiced out west.
But just maybe....now that I've got my air intake this all will change
I'm not so good at giving advice...may I offer you a sarcastic comment instead?
