Is this a heated clock spring?
Looking to fit a heated steering wheel but don't know if this is a heated clock spring or not. There is a small plug wrapped in foam but no real length of cable.
Any help appreciated FFRR 2017 4.4SDV8 Autobiography. Cost so much I must be mad!

The plug is for the heated wheel, but the clock spring is not the heated version (it is missing the separate 2 pin socket for the plug)06 D3 SE / 15 LR D90 XS SW / 88 LR 90 Td5 / 68 BMW 2000 ti

Can anyone confirm the part number to be correct. Looks to have the small socket above where the main sockets are.
Fingers crossed.FFRR 2017 4.4SDV8 Autobiography. Cost so much I must be mad!

Cant find the £109 one but here one for £119 - looks to be the right part number - although not in original packing

LR018556 is the heated version, there does now appear to be a pattern version of that part number on the market for around £82+VAT
However I haven't been able to confirm that the pattern version is definitely the heated version06 D3 SE / 15 LR D90 XS SW / 88 LR 90 Td5 / 68 BMW 2000 ti

I found them as per the link in my previous post. They're on a best offer so bid £100. I await their response.

How did you find getting the airbag off? I've had a go at mine with a home made tool but couldn't find the bar you're supposed to latch on to, I've just ordered a proper tool for it in the hope that it's far easier with that, I spent a good hour trying to do it on Saturday to no avail!
EDIT - also, is it the white plastic thingymajig on the clock spring that identifies it as being for a heated wheel?

I used an old electricians screwdriver which the tip had twisted. I tried to bend the end over and the tip snapped off. I heated it to effing ot! and bent it over with mole grips. I mucked about until I was about to give up and somehow I managed to get the right hand side to pop. I then got the other side in about 5 mins. Seriously almost gave up but just couldn't let it beat me. Once off it was all very easy to get the wheel off. I found the depth of the bend on the tool made all the difference. Quite shallow is the way forward.FFRR 2017 4.4SDV8 Autobiography. Cost so much I must be mad!
