Is this much fun legal???

Hi all!! 1 month into D3 ownership (well it is really the better halves') but it is sooo much better than the galaxy that preceeded it!

fitted roof rails, roof bar, side protection (by the dealer - then realised Ebay was about £100 cheaper - doh!!) :shock

used to have a series III lightweight 15 yrs ago - made of metal and canvas - nothing else!! this is pure luxury!!

bought towbar and electrics of ebay - now fitted

Maaxraxx guy coming today to fit the 4 bike rack and garage wall mount

and last but by no means least .....dealer has just sent me a voucher of half a day mud plugging !!

now i just need some local mud

is this much fun legal??? Very Happy

Thumbs Up

It certainly is, but keep quiet about it or Tony and Gordon will ban it. Oh, they already have on most greenlanes. Evil or Very Mad

Addictive aren't they, these D3s Mr. Green

Lots of fun to be had on Salisbury Plain. But be careful, stray off the byways and you will either get blow up by unexploded shells or have your car confiscated by the Land Warden

I hope to get down there in the next few weeks (weekday) if you fancy tagging along

I'm going to struggle to get over there before the D3 Salisbury Plain trip on the 10th as I'm in the Alps next week and pretty much pedal to the metal with work for a couple of weeks when I get back. Still, never say never.... Drop me a PM when you have a date in mind and I shall see what I can do Wink

Ok, it will be very much last minute and informal. I want to do a non damaging recon for the bristol land rover club. Some of our members have nice renovated series etc and dont want to damage them.

I'll let you know

I'll PM you with my mobile number, you never know, I may suddenly find myself unwell and unable to attend work at short notice.....
