Isolating One Parking Sensor
I wonder if any of the techies on the forum can advise how I might isolate one parking sensor.
I plan to fit a reversing camera in one of the parking sensor positions, but need to isolate the sensor as it goes into fault mode with it disconnected.
I can connect the sensor up but not sure how i can get it to not think it has something close.
i'm sure there must be a way to connect cables / the sensor but so it does not show an error / object.
Help would be much appreciated.
Many thanks

You can leave it connected , but hidden away .
You can cover it with some bluetack / tape etc ...try one first before you take it all apartG4 Gone ...but not forgotten

Just wondering, will you be able to get the image from the camera in the sat-nav screen? Do anyone know if this can be done?

Still need help
Covering it not an option as it still beeps as it thinks its touching something
It must be possible to fool it into thinking everything is okay simply by not cennecting the output cable so question does anyone have a wiring diagram for reverse sensors
In reply to oysberk, bought a GVIF interface so then picture on satnav screen so GVIF interface group buy on the forum.
Thanks in advance

Hi Paul,
I disabled my two inner sensors after fitting a winch. Simply use a ziplock bag after first using some Prestik to cover the sensors. Had mine disabled now for 2 years and no problems.Ren Colyn
