It's back - fake Penalty Charge Notice Do Not Ignore
Last night someone put a couple of small printed ( black on yellow ) notices under the windscreen of my D3 , parked at the front of my house.
SWMBO says that she never parked anywhere wrongfully so I reckon it must be the anti 4WD lot ( again ).
Anyone else had any ? I guess that these protests disappeared with the heavy snow a couple of winters ago but with no snow so far here in London maybe the loathing is back.

That lot again , they are now camping around londons tourist spots , so no time for 4x4 shenanigans, 2008 ,hse, it does what it says .

We got some 'Erb' living in our town who thinks he is a traffic warden and goes around sticking various tickets on vehicles. He has printed his own which display the Avon & Somerset plod logo .
He made the mistake of putting one on my truck, he now goes into hiding when he sees me. The funniest one was the time he stuck one on a scaffolders lorry, now thats one bunch you dont upset

good advice frapp a scaffolder usually has a limited vocabulary with most sentences ending in off a bad temper and often carries a heavy weapon best left alone

The one I got ( actually 2 ) was not in a plastic cover , had no council name on it nor reference number and the border whilst similar is different.
I am sure now it is a fake.
Possibly it was the person who a couple of years ago slagged me off in my front garden for driving a 4WD . He had as they say partaken of the drink and was very aggressive and foul mouthed. I debated with him and replied in kind when he threatened me. It got a bit close to a punch up when I sarcastically asked - after another torrent of abuse and F words - if that was the best he could do.
He said he would show me what he could do and relied on his friends " holding him back " . Their effort , it has to be said , was minimal . SWMBO said we would either get a brick through the window or hear nothing. Fortunately it was the latter.
Oddly enough when he started the whole nonsense I was just finishing working on my push bike - I cycle everywhere , including commuting.
Agree with euangibsonthat the local plod would not be impressed with his attempts to be a vigilante parking warden.

They call themselves climate rush and portray themselves as a bunch of modern day Suffragettes
