| I've been bush-whacked by a WVM !! |

Driving home last night from a friend's in Essex we have to go through some pretty narrow lanes.
Came to a bend, driving very moderately, and White Man Van coming the other way hurled his  big Merc van round the bend. I had to drop 2 wheels onto the verge and in doing so got swiped by some bushes or hedges. Didn't think anything of it until this morning when SWMBO saw the nearside of the car has quite a few scratches down the side  some are just surface but a couple I can 'feel' with my fingernails.
So the question, of course, is; what are the best methods & products to try and hide / remove / repair the scratches?

From reading other threads it seems as though once the scratch can be felt with the 'nail test' then it is a pro-removal job. Detailing companies and chips-away type places will do it but it is fairly pricey. Mine has a fair few scratches now and I use a T-cut and polish to get the worst out. I am not bothering doing more until it is time to sell the car on as I feel it will happen over and over, particularly if you do more off-roading. 2020 BMW X1 18d XDrive X-Line Auto

As long as it's not down to the metal, just cover it with a few layers of paint sealant and keep it topped up every couple of months until you're ready to get it completely fixed.  Bodsys Brake Bible

Vists detailedimage.com and check out the Porter Cable buffer. I have removed several scratches from my BMW with it and I am a firm believer in "Poorboy's" products and Menzerma sealant.

Try some Farecla G3 rubbing compound, thats what the professionals use.

Well I've given all the scratches a once-over with Meguiars Scratch-X and a lot of them are hardly noticeable now.
Maybe I need to use some kind of buffing/polisher on them?
All-in-all the Scratch-X did a pretty good job
