Ive used photoshop to tint my LR3's rear lights.OPINIONS PLZ
What do you think, should i get em done. I know a guy who can replace them for 150 quid but he'll take mine as part of the deal. He assures me theyre genuine LR.
Also thinking of getting the handles coded???? Not sure though
Any opinion appreciated especially the negative ones cos they crack me up
Thanks guys

No.....don't get them done.
Anything that is going to make your low-riding D3 look cheap and tacky should be avoided. At the moment you've got it looking clean and purposeful - blacked out rear lights would not look right in my opinion....2006 Discovery 3 TDV6 SE AutoBuckingham Blue 2007 Golf GT DSG

Actually, if they're done correctly, they can look quite OK. and will probably give you the look you are after.
There IS someone on the forum who has done this, I'm fairly sure, but I can't remember who.
I have thought about it for that extra bit of blackness on my 'Bodsymobile' (Thanks Slimer ) but so far i've resisted temptation. Will be interested in seeing your results if you do it.
Just need to make sure that the lights are still bright enough through the tint though.Bodsys Brake Bible

Fit the clear LED ones that LR sell. They will look good on your silver Disco. They cost a bomb from the dealers. Try E-Bay instead.

Yes - I think it was his mini.
LAKV8 - if you're intent on tuning it further than Chay may have a good point - the LR LED rear lights will look a thousand times better than blacked out original lights - especially on a silver D3 like yours.2006 Discovery 3 TDV6 SE AutoBuckingham Blue 2007 Golf GT DSG

My brother reckons they make the LR3 look GTI'ish lol I think they look quite good cos they match the tints on the rear windows but like you said they need to be done correctly. Cant find another zermatt silver D3 with tinted rear lights anywhere on the net.

Are you American....?
Please STOP calling it LR3.... I support your attempts to sleek the D3, but I'll have to abandon all hope unless you stop it.....!!
And as for the LED lights, have a look in Goffie's gallery, it's on silver too. BUT they cost over £400!!!!!

There is a Silver D3 that runs about my area and has this done. It looks okay. Just ensure it's done properly and not via the halfords light tint kits.
The Khan RRS at the autosport show had these done and it suited the drug dealer image very well indeed
I also agree about the LR3 tag..... Unless your real name is Chuck then it's okay
