Aside from anything else, the extremely wealthy Mosley was a Tax Exile living in Monaco for many years. Hardly promoting "for the many, not the few" mantra

Last February, Robert Peston raised concerns that Watson's influence was being bought by Mosley, whose single agenda is to stifle the major press organisations. Perhaps it's no coincidence then that Watson so voraciously attacked the press last month for reporting on Corbyn's meetings with a Czech "Diplomat"

Maybe Watson really believed Mosley was a transformed character, which judging by his interview in yesterdays Guardian he's clearly not:

Seeing as Watson has shown extraordinarily poor judgement in the recent past, by believing in “Nick”, the only source for the police’s Operation Midland, I'd say he was a poor judge of character.

It would seem that McDonnell and I are sharing similar thoughts on Watson.
