Have them on the D3....never really used them as also have the IID tool that can raise suspension without having to manually change each corner.

As for fitting - easy and straight forward. Nothing special or extra to do.
 MY2008 D3 - It got me hooked...gone
MY2012 D4 - It kept me hooked...gone
MY2007 D3 - Mid-Life crisis toy continues driving me to bankruptcy...
MY2018 "D5" Si6 - But is it a "true" LR...discuss...but now gone
Back in a D4 with a lot of extras....

I have the Johnson Rods on mine. They are a set height, so you cannot change them. After fitting mine I did have the alignment set as it was slightly different to the normal ride height. They have been great and cannnot fault them. Thumbs Up

Had them on my D3, got a set for my D4 though not yet fitted. if you run them with wheel spacers you can get some more aggressive mud terrain sizes fitted to your wheels.
this was my D3 after fitting them:

What size spacers did you need for the Maxis bighorns?

A good rod alternative to Johnson brand rods - the GOE rods can have three adjustment heights.

Why not an electronic module?
You can change heights (more heights...) everytime you need/want.

There is a group buy Wink
