Jump Starter any recommendations

With winter being on the horizon im thinking it would be a good idea to have a jump starter with me. Has anyone got any recommendations of one. Looking for one of the portable battery pack ones.

Thank you

A few weeks ago I got one of these from Amazon and ended up using it a few days later, it had no problems starting our D4. It seems well made and is small enough to fit in the side compartment in the boot.

I was looking at spending about £60-70 mark but i still want to be able to get one powerful enough and reliable to start the disco 3. If i cant find someone that could recommend one at that price point i think i will be looking at the one you recommend.

Thank you

Spend your money on a decent battery, and possibly a trickle charger. Don't let yourself be in the position of needing a jump start!

Although having a trickle charger is important, they are not as convenient, especially if like me, you have to park on the road and having changed the battery in mine recently, I have no wish to remove it again unless I absolutely have to.

If your battery is fine and it's just a case of having a boost if the battery struggles after being left in the cold for a prolonged period I reckon the £60-70 ones will be fine (I've got one and used it for that purpose) but I wouldn't want to try it on a dead D3 battery.

Battery is good, so its just as a backup if all goes wrong (plan for the worst, hope for the best). Likewise a trickle charger wouldn't be convenient

Hi

I have just got back from Costco and noticed they had them in there, I did not take note of the price but if you buy from Costco you can always take it back without any issues. Thumbs Up
