Is it just me

So embarked on another repair today. Replacement of the front sway bar bushes. A job that everyone else can do in a couple of hours and 6hrs later I've done one side 😱.
Every job I'm doing is taking way longer than what others spec it to be.
The few vids on YouTube suggest the driver side should be easier as it's not fouling the diff mount or whatever it is on the passenger side I did today. I try and get a socket or spanner on the top bolt and it's obscured by a couple of pipes. What a nightmare position for the top bolt. Will attempt that tomorrow.
Only thing I'm happy about is I bit the bullet and brought a decent halfords 3ton trolley jack and 3ton axel stands to do it and other work so shiny new tools. It's made life way easier to get it up in the air and supported.
I'm sure LR threadlocked every bolt on mine.

I'm no mechanic but my experience is the same. I think it's a combination of other's embellishing their own prowess with a spanner coupled with the fact that I'm just a bit Censored Laughing

On the plus side think how much money you have saved doing it yourself… Very Happy

And moreover you now have some decent equipment for when the next job comes up!

Maybe your bolts haven’t been undone for decades
Maybe others have more tools.

Mostly experience. Once you have done one , you kind of know what to expect

Got the driver side done but what a sod that was as well. Why position that deisel cooler there. I angle ground an offset ring spanner so I could get it in the gap between the pipe and the head of the bolt. It wouldn't come off but I prized the old Bush out and slid the new one in from wheel side. It would be so much easier with just a bit of decent access.
There was no way the deisel cooler was coming off..
I feel like I've been thrown around by the undertaker and razor ramone for the last 6 hrs.
