| Just how bad IS the LR EXPEDITION ROOF RACK |

I have a line on a on at a good price. So tell me just how bad are they? Should I spend a bit more for something more robust? I want to be able to mount a box with recovery gear and a jerry can at least up there. Perhaps a spare as well. Is this folly with the LR kit?

I had the LR rack and changed it for a FrontRunner. The reason being that I found the LR a bit flimsy for constant use. The LR rack is assembled using 5/16 rivets and 5mm bolts. The FrontRunner and most aftermarket racks are welded. If you do go for a LR one don't use big ratchet straps as they will destroy the roof
